I think I read somewhere that they had been made tradeable, is this true?

If you read it somewhere I would like to know where you read it. Probably some rumor that is floating around so that some idiot can scam people out of some money. For as long as I can remember and I don't think it has changed, that the Dragon masks are customized (since it is considered an 'armor' piece). I guess if you really wanted to you can trade it, but NO ONE would buy them because it's not going to do the OP any good. And any person that DOES buy one....well....is an idiot (since it says in the trade window that the item is customized for the other person).

I suppose if the item was customized for someone well-known, then a collector might desire it...

speaking of that...do any of you think there will be any future/current use of the orbs that were used to obtain those masks....i never got around to getting the mask and have a stupid pile of those orbs.

There may be a possibility that the orbs may be used again in some upcoming event. Factions was released in April (if I am not mistaken), so maybe they will have some celebration of some sort. I'd hold on to them for a little bit longer, and see what comes up in the next few months.
